Banana Republic.

I love aglio olio pasta, it’s my second favourite pasta dish after smoked salmon in cream pasta. It’s so easy to make because you need very little ingredients and very little cooking time. I took a basic aglio olio recipe and tweaked it to make it herbier and spicier and after a few experiments, I am close to getting the right combination and method that suits my tastebuds! I cooked chicken aglio olio today and the Paki and I had it for dinner. There is a reason why I prefer to work alone, because too many cooks will spoil the soup and that somewhat literally happened today. The pasta wasn’t spoiled, but the spiciness didn’t correspond to the amount that I used and I later found out that it was because the Paki added in extra chilli behind my back. Sneaky pig, it is a good thing I love chilli as much as he does.  

I didn’t give him a hard time because I understand how fragile his feelings are right now. My deepest sympathies goes out to him after knowing that Aishwarya Rai is now officially off the market. His one in a billion chance of her falling head over heels for him has effectively been reduced to zero. It’s been rough for the Paki, both Siti Nurhaliza and Aishwarya are now married. If Beyonce becomes a wife as well, he will have a cardiac arrest. About the Aishwarya issue, I told him it’s alright I’m South Indian too and the bloody fella cackled, albeit for a split second before he withered when I gave him The Look. The Look = clenched teeth, pursed lips, nostrils flaring and a very deep frown. He will have to pay for my future Botox injections because I am pretty sure there will be some serious frown lines on my forehead and he is the main cause. Eh my nostrils are a good display of emotions, they flare when I am supressing a laugh too. Also, it is not a good idea to have your eyebrows arched in the middle. Unless you want to look perpetually surprised. I cannot cock an eyebrow and neither can I wink without contorting one side of my face. I will practice both actions during this three months holiday.

Not a good start to the examination but moving along now, I have four more papers to go! The smell of freedom is getting nearer. I cannot wait to sleep at 6am and wake up at 2pm and stay in bed all day watching tv shows online.

In other news, I am a procrastinating cunt. 

Highlights of my weekend:

- Finding a misplaced set of notes.
- Saw a bike on fire at 3am, condolences to the owner and hope you have fire and theft insurance.
- Botanic Gardens gathering. It is quite creepy at night there, I don’t know how people can makeout in places like that. What if you’re making out and a ghost appears? If I’m a guy, I will experience what is known as a sudden erectile death.

Important decisions to make today:

- To bathe, or not to bathe?
- Eat lunch at 12 noon or 1pm?

Also, tomorrow is my first paper and it happens to be the most difficult one. Good luck to me.
