Banana Republic.

Finally done with Hari Raya visiting so now I can give my feet, face and stomach a rest. Especially my stomach because I have consumed an insane amount of (delicious) food. I am officially off rendang and sambal goreng for now.

Ok so Visiting – Part I, with the clique. This year is the first time we started in the evening and on a weekday due to school and work commitments. Actually this year we had very limited choices when it comes to free days due to some people’s schedule (*stares at Paki and Boarie*), so we had to compromise with a Friday evening meetup. Started at 6pm and ended at 4am can?!? Another first for us!

At Babal’s place.

Where wewatched Wujud 2 which was very wtf for me because I have zero love for supernatural documentary slash reality show slash quasi horror movie like Wujud, NTT and the likes of it!! I spent most of the time either looking away, talking to an equally terrified Pot or playing with Babal’s cuteeeeee cat. It is also beyond me why people would sit in a creepy place and be spooked just for a bit of cash! Give me 1 million also I won’t do. Ok maybe.

At Yayah’s place we watched my favourite movie EVER, Seniman Bujang Lapok! Our main reason for watching this is to force Apol to assimilate into the Malay world and only a cinematic genius like Seniman Bujang Lapok can do the work. Apol still doesn’t get the movie or find it funny but this is coming from the girl who worships at the altar of the deities Tomok and Fauzi Laily (sp)!

Went to my place as well as Nor’s place. Last stop was Boarie’s and by the time we left, it was almost 4am already. No prizes for guessing who were the ones who surrendered first hehehe.
