Banana Republic.

With the Misfits aka the bunch of clowns who were unfairly and unceremoniously retained haha! We’ve made it a tradition to wear same colour outfits for our Raya outing. This year is our 3rd colour coordinated outing and we decided on,

yellow! So bright and cheery, I love it.

First stop Nadia’s.

I think cloth-wise, my yellow outfit is the cheapest among my three this year. The total for the top, bustier and skirt is less than $30. The material for the skirt is a satin batik, same as Boarie’s except that her print is black whereas mine is brown. Damn cheap lah we bought it in Bali. Even the cloth for my green outfit was bought there, which was like about $5 for a yard of lace. So now we have a good reason to return next year. For yards and yards of cloth and more satin batiks!

Love this next photo! I made up for the lack of photos taken on Friday with the clique by being trigger-happy with the Misfits. You know on Friday I didn’t even take a decent couple pic with the Paki. One of these days I will put on makeup, blowdry my hair and wear the brown outfit just to take photo.

Anyway it wasn’t a good day for the Paki because he had a terrible case of gastric and it was so bad that he couldn’t walk. Luckily by then we were at my place so he lied down for awhile after slathering a litre of medicated oil on his tummy. It was also raining and we couldn’t move on yet so he managed to sleep it off for a bit while we occupied ourselves by

playing poker! Hang Tuah would have been proud of his descendants. Look at Indra’s face, he’s so gleeful can? Later at his place, we continued gambling but I must stress that we did not make any monetary gain because we used 1 cent coins which were duly returned at the end of the session.

Last stop at Indra’s fabulous house. I will miss the rooftop garden and the many hours we spent there chilling out because this ass is shifting soon. I think every Hari Raya we visit a different house of his haha!
